If you are weary of taking prescription drugs because of the side effects and the risk of abuse and dependency, taking nootropics is an alternative. Most of these pills are available without a prescription. They are used to improve memory, enhance cognitive brain function, and increase attention span and focus. Although there are no side effects to these medications, it is important to discuss your nootropic regimen with your doctor. There could be drug interactions if you are currently taking prescription medications.
